Model Providers

Users on the Startup and Unlimited plans can choose from a variety of model providers.

ArcticAI

This is our proprietary model and is included by default on all plans. Note that this model is not available for use outside of ArcticSQL.

Anthropic

ArcticSQL also supports the Anthropic API. To use Anthropic, simply provide your Anthropic API key in the settings when creating a new profile. This is our recommended model for most users who are unable to use the built-in ArcticAI model. Note that using Anthropic may incur additional costs.

OpenAI

ArcticSQL also supports the OpenAI API. To use OpenAI, simply provide your OpenAI API key in the settings when creating a new profile. Note that using OpenAI may incur additional costs.

Ollama

ArcticSQL also supports Ollama. To use Ollama, simply provide the URL to your Ollama instance in the settings when creating a new profile. We recommend using sqlcoder:15b for best results when running locally.
