Installation
ArcticSQL is a powerful and intuitive SQL client designed for developers and data analysts. It is currently available for MacOS, with plans to expand to Windows and Linux in the near future. After downloading the application from our website, simply open it to get started.
Plans
The free "Hobby Plan" is built-in, so you can start using ArcticSQL right away without the need to create an account or login. This plan includes basic features and is perfect for personal projects or small teams.
If you'd like to unlock additional features, you can upgrade to the "Startup Plan" or "Unlimited Plan", which offer subscription-based access and one-time payment options respectively.
Storage
When you first open ArcticSQL, it will create a folder in ~/.arcticsql to store the configuration and your data. If you ever want to uninstall ArcticSQL, you can delete this folder and all of your data will be gone.
The first time you run ArcticSQL, it will prompt you to create a profile. Each profile is associated with a data source and as you use ArcticSQL, information is added to the knowledge base of that profile to make future assistant operations more useful and precsie.
Shortcuts
Once you connect to your data source, you can use the handy keybaord shortcuts to chat with your assistant, whether you want to generate queries, edit queries, or fix some issues. Furthermore, the Explore tab will provide some suggestions for interesting queries to run to help you get started.
cmd + RRun your querycmd + NWrite a new querycmd + EEdit your querycmd + SSave a query to the knowledge base
You can also check out the Settings tab which allows you to configure the assistant settings and other preferences.
Feedback
We'd love to hear from you! If you have any feedback or suggestions, please let us know by clicking the "Feedback" button in the bottom right corner of the application.
